Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you from Spectrum! I couldn’t be happier to report that I have spent Christmas Day on bedrest. Today marked my 25th week of pregnancy, on the 25th of December. Although I am not even close to where I would like/should/need to be when the triplets are born, I feel great about making it to 25 weeks – what a blessing! Dr. Jelsema is amazed that I have maintained the pregnancy for the past eleven days, while dilated to 5 cm. My new mantra is: Every day counts.

Jason and Quin came to visit me this morning. Jason did a great job taking pictures and video while Quin opened presents at home. He brought the video camera to the hospital so that I could watch. It was the second best thing to being there with them. She also opened one of her ‘bigger ticket’ presents here. I figure she won’t remember my absence this Christmas and we will definitely have an exciting day next year! My family came to visit me this afternoon, with food to share :)

I hope all of you, and your families, had a very Merry Christmas!

I am so glad you were able to watch Quinn open her gifts via video camera and then another gift at the hospital! I am so glad you are making it this far and what a miracle being 5 cm dialated. I am praying for you and the babies and thinking of you often. Hang in there honey!

It wasn't the same without you today, but I'm happy you weren't there. I know that sounds terrible, but so true! We missed you, Jo. See you on Saturday.

love you.

Hello Sizemore family,
I work with Mike @ Frankenmuth Mutual. He keeps us posted on your progress. Our firstborn was born at 25 weeks, weighing 1 lb 12 oz. He's 22 and just graduated from college. I was on bedrest for 18 weeks with each of our 2 daughters after that. You're so right that every day, every week is huge. Glad to hear you have a positive attitude and a good support system. Hang in there, it will be so worth it. God is with you and those precious little ones. I'm praying for you.
